Bashir Uddin School was established in 1968 at Paikpara of Mirpur in Dhaka district. The school was established by the late Salem Uddin, a prominent educationist of the area. A long-standing dream of the students graduating from this school was to build a service organization with alumni. After much discussion, a meeting of the alumni was held in January 2021.
An alumni association called Bashir Uddin Adarsh School and College Alumni Association was inaugurated at the meeting. This organization will act as a bridge between the students who have passed from this school. This organization will play a leading role in the overall welfare of the present students and teachers as well as the school.
Undertaking various activities throughout the year to develop the talents of the students and invigorate them in the spirit of national art and culture.
To provide scholarships, medical aid, financial assistance or relief distribution to the past and present students, teachers, staff and all concerned of Bashir Uddin High School as per the need.
Celebration of International Mother Language Day, Independence Day, Victory Day, Pahela Boishakh, Winter Cake Festival, etc. with the participation of former and current students.
To exchange views with the concerned authorities and provide necessary assistance for the overall development of Bashir Uddin High School. Organizing various meetings and reunions at regular intervals with the participation of all alumni.
To implement and keep in motion all the activities of Bashir Uddin Adarsh School and College Alumni Association, steps have been taken to increase communication with the members in various ways including digital media.
